Fizz-o-meter
How fizzy is fizzy?
Carbonation is measured in volumes: how many liters of CO₂ gas are dissolved in each liter of drink. Drag the slider and watch the glass.
≈ 2.9 g of CO₂ in a 355 mL can
Spicy. Fizzier than cola.
Reference drinks show typical, rounded values.
Shake lab
Shake it. Then crack it.
Shaking a can doesn’t add any gas. It knocks loose millions of tiny bubbles that cling to the walls. Open the can and the dissolved CO₂ rushes into all of them at once. That rush is the foam. Leave a shaken can alone and those bubbles drift up into the headspace, which is why waiting a minute works.
1
Grab the can and drag it around fast, or press Shake.
2
Watch the nucleation gauge climb.
3
Press Crack it and stand back.
Sticker wall
Throw stuff around.
Every six-pack comes with a sheet of stickers. These ones you can fling.
